Picastro began in Toronto in 1998 and has continued on in many forms with various members. The current line up consists of Matthew Ramolo on mondular synth, Nick Storring on cello, Germaine Liu on percussion and Liz Hysen on vocals and guitar. The band has toured North American and Europe extensively, performed on BBC 6, WFMU and VPRO as well as various festivals worldwide.
